Our cncVISIONTM video machining inspection system makes it possible to inspect parts while they are mounted on a milling machine's table. The camera is placed in a tool holder and then mounted into the spindle. With the spindle locked, the camera's field can be alligned to be square with the table's axises. The system cross hairs can also be aligned so they cross at the center of rotation of the spindle. By programing or manually moving the X and Y axises of the mill the part can be inspected to within a 1 thousandth of an inch. By moving the Z axises the image can be focused. The Z axis can also be used to measure the depth of holes, channels and steps to within 3 thousandths of an inch.
The compact 9" high resolution B/W monitor gives you the choice of black or white cross hairs.
The camera has its own light source of 4 white LEDs. A 6 foot telephone handset cord connects the camera to the monitor and carries the power from and the signal to the monitor.
We will be introducing a new model by the second quarter of 2000. It will have a 12.1" flat screen display and have a small color camera. Pictures and more imformation will be posted in a couple of weeks.
